Sale Alert & Style Inspo
Style Inspo for Spring via Banana Republic Factory
Y'all know by now my love for Banana Republic Factory… and I know you love it too. Good quality, good fit, and good prices for great basics. I like the “Hidden Sapphire” color BR Factory has this season: it's like a teal-ish navy that is as versatile as a neutral but a little different. I paired it with “Cactus Grove,” a leaf green that is turning out to be a big color trend this spring (and a gorgeous color with neutrals, denim, white, black).

white jeans (petite & tall options) | blue cardigan | black bag | green shirt | black shoes | blue pants (tall & petite options) | blue tank | printed scarf | green shorts | black belt
This mini capsule has you mixing and matching with breezy pieces you can rock from April to August. And heads up, you will be seeing a LOT of woven leather flats and slingbacks like these in 2026… I thought this was a nicely-priced option to test drive the trend and see if you like it (they also come in red!).
Best Sales This Weekend

Baublebar continues to be one of my favorite places for fun costume jewelry that's a good price and good quality for us grown women. And Baublebar has 25% off sitewide and 20% off custom items through 3/22. The discount will auto apply at checkout, so no code is needed. Baublebar is also a great place for grad gifts: lots of trendy personalized items (shop now and you'll get it in plenty of time).
Chico's has 25% off select tops this weekend. IMO, this shirt is worth every penny; I look forward to each spring to see what fun colors Chico's brings out in them. By now you know my love for these tanks; at this price it's worth it to replenish your stock or try it for the first time (I'm pretty sure you'll love it). I keep hearing good things about their Perfect Crew and just ordered one in white at this great price to see how it fits, its opacity, and how it holds up. Stay tuned!

The Madewell Insiders Event is on with 25% off sitewide. I think Madewell does spring extremely well; it's when I spend the most at this retailer. While ice blue may be a hot trend this year, I am gravitating towards pink and while looking at Madewell's new arrivals, created this mini capsule of pink with cognac and oat. You can shop this capsule at my ShopMy shelf, or the carousel below:
The Alexis Bittar Friends & Family sale continues with 25% off sitewide (which means an additional 25% off sale styles). For my sewists and hair stylists out there, this bag is sooo awesome. And this bangle is a badass statement piece you can rock for years to come.
ELEMIS also has its Friends & Family sale going on with 25% off sitewide + a FREE 5-piece gift (worth $106) when you spend $145+. Use code FF25.
DSW, this weekend online only, get 20% on regular-price styles + get a FREE tote with $59+ purchase. Codes are stackable at DSW; use BRIGHTSUN through 3/15 for 20% off and FREETOTE for the free tote (also through the 15th). This is a good sale to get that pair of dress shoes for spring and summer weddings, showers, and graduations. I gathered my picks (all low and flat options, with widths + comfort brands and all under $100) and made a shelf on ShopMy; you can also scroll through them below and click on a style to open in another window:
See/Hear/Read

We're watching Love Story, not the movie with Ali McGraw, but the series about Carolyn Bessette and JFK Jr. on Hulu. I need to make that distinction because I wrote about it on Threads and a couple of folks were hella confused. I don't know if this show is worth watching but we're in four episodes and I guess need to see it through…

Carolyn is a jerk and John is a manbaby and neither of the actors who play these folks are as striking looking as the real thing. And Naomi Watts as Jackie O is really weird to me. But the dude who plays Calvin Klein IMO is a good fit. The soundtrack is pretty fun as someone who remembers that period of time. Are you watching? What do you think of it?

We're in Season 2 of Paradise (also on Hulu) and no question about it, this is an excellent show. Fascinating premise, well written, fantastic cast. Sterling K. Brown is a national treasure; he is handsome and emotional and strong and brings his all to every role and I would watch him read a CVS receipt.

I will not go into this show much; I have spoken to many who have yet to start Season 2, who are just starting Season 1 and one of the things that makes this show so excellent is when different things are revealed. If you know ahead of time, some of that excellence is lost.

This is a dystopian series, but it's no Last of Us or even Station 11. Far less violence and scariness going down, while still plenty of intrigue and emotion, tragedy and humor. I think this is a show you can watch with your tween or teen; whoever you watch it with have someone because you will want to discuss after each episode!
For Your Entertainment

With women's rights being taken away, fashion trends becoming more tailored and conservative, and we're returning to the 90s in regards to music as well as fatphobia, cigarettes, and tanning beds, I appreciate the modern takes on country that come from Kacey Musgraves. And “Dry Spell” is a song that never ever would have made it in the 90s but is so incredibly catchy and relatable to many.
