My Wardrobe Delayed – My Friend’s Baby Shower

My best friend just shared her pictures from the baby shower I attended a couple weeks ago. This was my first time wearing my Lands End Canvas oxford shirt, and I was feeling very creative with my oversized H&M scarf so I just had to share, even though it's delayed!

Silver cuff

I took the scarf and folded it on the oblong into about a 6″ wide strip and wrapped it twice and tied in front.  Then I looked in a mirror and tucked in any loose edges.  Held nicely the whole day!

How gosh darn creative is my sister?  She was the hostess of the shower and made these adorable onesies with the letters of the twins' names and hung it in the doorway at the shower.

  1. For anyone reading, my friend had her babies this weekend! They are strong and healthy, around 5 lbs each and didn’t need to be in the NICU. Mama and both babies are doing very well, thank you for those who sent out positive vibes into the universe for them! 🙂

  2. And the shower WAS really cute. My sister also made topiaries but out of Munchkins, a brunch theme for the food (ham, biscuits, stratas, muffins, etc.). My dear friend who was the woman of honor that day is currently on bed rest at the hospital and could have the babies any day now. If ya’ll could send positive vibes (and non cabin fever vibes – she’s been there almost a week) I know she would appreceiate it! 🙂
