The colder months are easy for most any affair – whip out your little black dress and heels and you’re good to go. However once the weather gets warmer, an LBD can sometimes seem too harsh or somber, especially for happy events like weddings. That being said, with the extensive array of dress styles and…

Brown merino bracelet sleeve v-neck from Gap, coral and brown and ivory tweed trousers from Ann Taylor, brown peep toe pumps with wood heels from Maripe, thin gold hoops from Diva. These are my last 14 pants, and I realize that when I bend over or squat I look as though I am wearing a…
Within the past five years, my body has fluctuated about 20 pounds, though I have essentially still worn around the same clothing size. Perimenopause, fitness changes, diet changes, life—they all affect my body, and I’d go broke if I bought a new wardrobe each time it changed. I am especially grateful to items in my…

this is funny! i wondered if you live in D.C. when i saw you refer to “the Metro” in one of your posts! i live in NOVA, and this is *so* true!
this is my first time on your blog. i need HELP! with my wardrobe, and I Googled “Mommy fashion Blogs” and yours came up! i’ll be watching your blog for help, now that I know about your posts, and we’re in the same geographic area (so same weather and stores!)
haha, as soon as it started I knew it was the same guy who did the Arlington Rap. Hilarious.
the arlington rap is also money.
but yes, this metro one is so spot-on!
Oh this made me laugh, gonna make G watch it when he gets home! Any time we go into D.C. we take the metro (unless we’re going to dinner where there’s valet). I think the best part of taking it is watching the tourists who have never been on a freakin’ subway system before. It’s not hard, but damn do they get perplexed.
