Hair was washed, conditioned and a bit of Jonathan Silky Dirt applied. Allowed to air dry (still wet in these pictures).

Makeup is L'Oreal true match concealer in W4-5, Cargo Matte Beach blush in Tenerife, Revlon ColorStay shadow quad in Neutral khakis – olive on lid and along lower lash line, bit of chocolate in crease and along top lash line. Max Factor Lash Perfection mascara in black. On lips is Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss in Pink Afterglow.

  1. Yep, works for wet or dry hair. The label says it’s to make supermodel shine… it gives shine and softness and helps encourage curls to wet hair, smooths, adds a bit of definition and then shine to dry hair. Best for long hair and layers, it’s more of a thick lotion/cream and a little goes a VERY long way. The traditional Dirt is mainly for short hair – sort of like a dry-finish pomade.

    Do you love the Jonathan Silky Dirt? What is different for you than just using his Dirt? I am trying to collect some new hair product for my make-up kit (sometimes I have to do hair too) and I might want to add some of his product. Do you recommend the Silky Dirt on dry hair? Seems like you can use it both wet and dry form your blogs — no?
