I love how a blazer can upgrade a basic weekend look of tee shirt and jeans. When I went to Talbots Annapolis Towne Center to exchange my jeans, I tried on this blazer, which I featured in this post. Just as I thought, while this blazer can look boardroom-ready with a crisp white shirt and trousers, it looks just at home dressed down. I think it would look fantastic come winter with a turtleneck sweater.  Thank you Talbots Annapolis for the gift, it's always a pleasure to shop with you!

I bought these oxfords a couple years ago (last worn here) and while they don't get regular wear, they often are just the thing I need to complete a look (and it doesn't hurt that they're pretty comfy!). It's funny, whenever I wear them men are the ones to compliment me on my choice of footwear!

  1. Love this outfit! Just ordered some brogues and had to return because they didn’t fit. May rethink and find silver ones. 🙂
