My Wardrobe Today – Tuesday

So how was your weekend? Mine was pretty lovely! Saturday morning I took Emerson to the playgroup at the local sand volleyball court – people brought beach umbrellas and the kids had a blast digging and playing in the sand. While Emerson took a nap, I headed to College Park to get my hair cut and take a tour around my old stopping ground.  When E got up the three of us went to the pool where she had so much fun. She went under the water, would kick with her hands on the bottom of the pool or with me holding her body in the water.

Sunday was our regular tradition of hitting the farmers market and then the local cafe. I grabbed some fresh kale and peaches to make my salad for that evening we went to our friends' place for a potluck cookout and fireworks. Unfortunately there was a thunderstorm at sundown so no fireworks, but we had a great time catching up with friends and Emerson was pretty thrilled with her glo-stick bracelets.

Yesterday was so hot and humid, we spent the majority of the day indoors. We headed to a friend's house for a cookout around 5pm, but by 7:15 Emerson was done and begging for her bed. I took her home and caught a glimpse of the fireworks from our deck. After the fireworks, my husband, sister, and our friend stopped by for a couple beers on the deck. No pics from any of this… trying to get my cheapy point-and-shoot working again… hope to have it up and running by the end of the week!
