Not a good day. Still battling a headache and just felt all in all unwell. I didn’t take pictures in my house, you get a nice shot of me at a stop sign in my neighborhood with my beach chairs. 🙂 White stretch cotton v-neck sweater from Banana Republic, white ribbed tank from Old Navy,…

Friend’s birthday. We went to a neighboring town for dinner, and then a few clubs for drinking and dancing. Nothing too fancy, more of a relaxed girls night with good food, good wine and good company. White button-down from Ann Taylor, same Curvy Lowrise Bootcut jeans from Gap that I wore on Friday, tortoiseshell necklace…

It’s raining. I mean, I am glad for it because everything has been so darn dry but that plus the dark mornings already taking place… it’s hard to be lively in the AM. That dress is beautiful, flattering, and you just glow in it! I love those dramatic colors as well as the dramatic hi-low style.
Thank you!
You look amazing!! This dress is so beautiful…are you going to part with it?!?
I am. It’s utterly gorgeous but I know it’s not one I’d wear so many times I can just justify the cost.
I think what I like most about this dress is that you seem to be really enjoying it! It’s really very cute on you.
Thank you so much!
Such a pretty outfit! I’m wearing my first high/low dress to a wedding in August and a bit nervous that it’s a bit young for 57YO me. But I really like the way it looks on me, which is rare with dresses recently! It is the “Pleione ruffled high/low shift dress” in red saucy, which I got at the anniversary sale. Got it in black, too, and tempted to keep both.
That is a really lovely dress!
I use that disk to keep my bra straps from showing!!! I always have to have my husband put it on for me though…..do you have a way to do it yourself??
XOXO

Good question. I have a hard time with these, too….
Either Karl does it, or I put on my bra backwards, get the straps through the disc, slide it around and shimmy into place. Option 1 is far preferred! 🙂
What a stunning dress! I think the top is very flattering, and I love how you styled it. I’ll say it again — Gwynnnie Bee — come to Canada!
That would be great if they did!
