While it may be September and the fall fashions are in the stores, it's still hot as heck outside! I'm craving the season's looks so I'm making it work with the weather. Silk blouse and unlined trousers to stay cool, and accessories like my lipstick and bag to give the fall feel.

Speaking of the bag, Handbag Heaven sent me over their Waverley Barrel Satchel and if you follow me on Instagram you know I've been carrying it quite a lot. It's big enough to carry everything to the office, but is structured so it doesn't look lumpy or lose its shape. I have a few bags from Handbag Heaven and am impressed with the quality of the bags and how well they're designed. This bag (and the Molly Structured Tote I featured in this post) have removable crossbody straps that can be adjusted and swivel and a minimum of three pockets inside for easy access to every purse essential.  Handbag Heaven is a great resource for vegan bags, they look great and the prices are fantastic.

  1. That’s a very elegant outfit – you look great and very on trend with your leopard. I’m going to have to have a go at being brave with leopard – I’ve got some heels (pumps) and a scarf but somehow I feel like they’re a bit ‘racy’ for the office. Ideas?

    1. I think when they’re paired with neutrals like camel, brown, ivory, and black they just become another print instead of racy. Also they’re accessories, so they’re more a pop than a statement. Next thing you know you’ll be like me with a half dozen pairs of leopard pumps as a go-to when no other shoe matches! I now feel leopard is a neutral 🙂
