Today I went to lunch with my two best friends and then went with them to have one get a very major cut and color for her hair (I am so proud of her!). Tonight I am going to the Fillmore to see The Roots in concert. I don't know yet what I will wear tonight but I will hopefully get some pictures of the ensemble!  I am looking forward to it, haven't yet been to the Fillmore in Silver Spring, and have heard it's an awesome music venue.

If I don't get around to posting tomorrow I wish all of you a very happy New Years and I will see you in 2012!

    An Old Favorite

Dress: Vince Camuto (similar) | Belt: HOBO Bags (similar) | Shoes: Mootsies Tootsies It’s funny, when I first wore this dress I didn’t like it.  It felt too much – too much fabric, the mullet skirt, the bold color.  Now it has become a favorite because while it looks polished it’s super duper comfortable and…

  1. Love this look!  It says ‘spring’ to me so I’ve jotted it down to pinch the idea sometime next month.  I love the red pants though, I have red jeans and the young man hates them but I love them and will keep wearing them!

  2. Love the pants. I’ve got to get some red ones. I bought some hot pink skinny jeans to wear with boots on weekends and my husband thought I was nuts until he saw them in an outfit. I always had a fear of bright colors, especially on bottom, but you use them so well.

  3. I love your hot pink with red – so fabulous. And nothing looks better than Emerson’s smile – it’s infectious and beautiful.

  4. Awesome, so sharp looking! I’ve been stalking your blog and I so love the outfits you put together, especially the shoes 🙂
